1/6/2021 Protests to the known election fraud that took place in the 2020 Presidential election at the US Capitol. Every American has the right to peaceful protest but they do not have the right to enter into places and cause damage or threaten others.
5/30/20 Washington DC riots caused by George Floyd’s death, every American has the right to peaceful protest but they do not have the right to burn and damage property outside the White House.
The truth is some only see what they want to see, being blind to what’s in front of them, rationalizing/defending what suits them, conforming… both events were wrong on so many levels, but it does seem that a large portion of the population has chosen to forget the recent past and only point fingers when it aligns with their agenda.
